As you're hopefully aware, the main purpose of this group is to help expose people in the Twin Cities to cloud computing technologies. For the past 9 months or so we've been trying to do this by hosting monthly meetings as well as special events at the local Microsoft office in Bloomington. However, I know that you have busy lives. Between work, family, and other obligations it can be difficult to carve out a couple of hours each month on a particular day and time to get to the Microsoft office to learn about a topic you're interested in. I'm of the belief that these obligations are extremely important, but I don't think they should prevent you from learning. So, I was thinking that we should offer our monthly meetings up as Live Meetings as well as in person events. This would enable people to watch the meeting live even if they can't attend in person. Or, if they're booked at that particular time, they could donwload the meeting to watch at a later point in time.
Let me know if you're interested (via the Comments) and, depending on interest level, I'll get something set up for next month.
